WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE WITH?
We make our candles with natural, American-grown soy wax, essential oils, and clean-burning fragrance oils. In addition to even stricter standards, the fragrance oils we use in our candles are 100% phthalate-free, are in full compliance with all IFRA standards, and contain no materials that require a prop 65 label.
WHY BROWN FOX COLLECTIVE?
It's so funny to us that people ask this! We never thought we'd get asked when we named the company, and now when we do we realize that yeah, our name does seem kind of random, and actually has a long story! ... The two of us began as friends, who then started creating some slow arts together. We were ready to form a business, however, when we briefly took up font-making, Kirsten having experience in the creative/design world, and Blair having excellent handwriting. So we started a company and named it Brown Fox Fonts, after the pangram "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog," that we of course learned in our early days of Mavis Beacon and Oregon Trail circa 1995. Font creation did not last long, however. Slow crafts did, candle-making stuck, and Brown Fox Fonts became Brown Fox Collective.
HOW CAN I SMELL YOUR CANDLES IN PERSON?
If you're local to Nashville, we most steadily sell at The Getalong, but try to keep several other awesome local shops stocked, as well! Or, you're welcome to stop by our studio anytime, just contact us to let us know you're coming! We also try to make it to several markets throughout the year! Our instagram account is the best place to find our current stockists and markets!

All candles are hand-poured and shipped from Nashville, TN.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY?
Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Please let us know if there are any problems with your candle and we will replace it free of charge. Returns can be made for store credit, with customer covering return shipping. To return your candle, please fill out the Contact form and put “return” + your order number in the subject line and the reason for return in the message.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY CANDLE ARRIVED BROKEN?
First of all, we are so sorry that this has happened. Despite every effort to keep your candle safe, glass sometimes breaks during shipment. But we’ll take care of it! Simply email us a picture of your broken candle as well as a copy of your shipping confirmation if you have it (check your email) and we will ship you a brand new candle asap!
YOU'RE BOTH MOMS, HOW MANY KIDS DO YOU HAVE AND WHAT ARE THEIR AGES?
Between us, there are eight kids zero to ten! They're great friends between our two families, and if we were confidant they wouldn't harm your candles, they'd be allowed to help out with the business more!
